My siblings and I were cleaning out my mother’s house recently and made numerous trips to the library to deliver books to be sold in the library book sales. The volunteers were so incredibly helpful, kind and appreciative. They cheerfully helped us unload and carry our boxes of books to the sorting station and assured us that our donation would be welcomed by the peninsula’s enthusiastic book buyers. They even gave us more boxes to take back with us. The community is incredibly lucky to have these energetic and hard-working volunteers who keep the book sale a vibrant enterprise and a win-win for everyone involved.
