We are honored to announce the Fred Mackenbach Computer and Study Lounge at Malaga Cove Library. The Mackenbach family gave to honor Fred’s many years of tireless support and exceptional service to PVLD, the Malaga Cove Library, and the Peninsula Friends of the Library. Fred served as Mayor of Palos Verdes Estates and as a Palos Verdes Estates city council member from 1999 to 2005. Fred was a good friend to our community.
The dedication of this space was celebrated on May 3, 2019, by the Friends of the Library, members of the community, and PVLD library staff.
