Peninsula Friends of the Library

Welcome to the Peninsula Friends of the Library website. During the summer, several of the Advisory Board members collaborated to write who we are, what we are currently doing, and what we will be doing as the weeks and months pass. We “went live” with our blog-format website at the end of August but some of the information is still under development.

We hope you regularly read not only the contents of the entire library website, but to get a sense of what a blog can be, visit The Directors Blog posted regularly by our Director Kathy Gould. I’m Fran Pullara, the volunteer Communications Chair of the Peninsula Friends of the Library, by the way. I’ll be the primary person who posts regularly here about activities that pertain to our group–and hopefully to you. Right now our blog is pretty simple, but as we all get used to the format, we hope this will be a place you’ll visit often. Have ideas, suggestions? Let us know in the comments section below.

So, take some time to get to know us via our pages. Perhaps you’ll want to volunteer at our book sales or other events, donate books or buy books from the book sales, shop at our truly unique Library Shop, or explore other ways to support your Library District.
